Safe Kids Washington is a network of local community coalitions across the state working to prevent the No. 1 killer of children – unintentional injury.
Our mission is to create safe and injury free communities in Washington State with a focus on children age 0-19 years old. How We Do It
Local leaders create sustainable coalitions

We take a public health socio-ecological model to build local community-based and community led coalitions. The best way for kids to be safe is to ensure we are all safe. By working with individuals, families, schools, businesses, cultural and art communities we can affect policy and share healthy practices that benefits us all.
